Kenya School Project - Sharing the Excess

Our Projects

Nyange Primary students will have a new library in 2007.

We help support the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) which was developed and is administered by Help Self Help Centre [visit HSHC], the Kenyan nonprofit.

Anastasia Wanjiru heads Karundas Women’s Group. Their goal is to plant and sell 300,000 trees for fuel, lumber and reforestation. Anastasia runs leadership workshops. She will soon have the computer she needs.

Sewing & Tailoring

We supplied this class with fabric and tools to learn a trade.

Coastal Ridge Middle School

Students at Coastal Ridge Elementary School, York, ME. painted bird houses for a fundraiser for their sister school, Rongai Primary in Naro Moru,Kenya.

Edison Elem. in Appleton

WI raised funds for a library and garden at Munyu Primary near Mt. Kenya.
