About Kenya Works Community Works

Community Works is a social program initiated by Kenya Works in the year 2014 to address several social issues including: Gender Based Violence, Positive Parenthood, Effective Communication in Families and Community Empowerment. During our training the participants are invited from, Non-governmental organizations, Government officials, religious leaders, community leaders and teachers from different parts of the country. The stars represent parts of the country where trained representatives are now spreading the important information learned. Kenya Works believe in partnering with communities to expand opportunities as the key to sustainable developments.

Over 350 community leaders from around Kenya have been trained in our Kenya Works Community Works forums focusing on abuse awareness, positive communication and parenting, and community empowerment. Those trained go back into their own communities with the commitment to share the important information learned, continuing the ripple effect of building positive connections and empowerment for all.

I want to thank Kenya Works for coming up with such trainings, indeed the level of the training is equivalent to what is offered in Kenyan Universities whose costs few can afford...but due to the courtesy of Kenya Works, the poor communities can have the important life changing knowledge, free of charge. I thank Kenya Works for their continuous support to change more lives of the poor communities in Kenya and urge them to keep the fire burning.
