Nutritional Support

We know that proper nutrition is a foundation for development and a basic human right. We are investing in children’s futures by supporting feeding programs which promote intellectual, educational and physical development for children in need.

Miale ya Tumaini

Miale ya Tumaini, Swahili for “Ray of Hope,” is an organization that is responding to immense poverty in the slums of Nairobi. Over 65 percent of the 35,000 slum residents are children who live in substandard conditions and lack proper nutrition, safety and education support. The center provides up to 600 children an evening meal, a safe space after school, and family counseling support every day.

Victory Community Development Center

VICODEC focuses on youth and poverty by feeding 2,500 children and educating 650 students every day. It provides medical care to children and their families, along with adult vocational training.

Please visit the VICODEC website   to learn how to sponsor a child in need.
