Victory Community Development Center

The Victory Community Development Center (VICODEC) is a community center located between Kware and Gataka slums in Ongata-Rongai, Kenya. It is designed to act as a beacon for the community…striving to help community members address their issues of poverty and work toward the elimination of social and economic divisions.

Focusing on youth, VICODEC educates 450 children and feeds over 800 daily. In addition, VICODEC also provides medical care and offers adult vocational training. Children and adults in the community are empowered to change their lives in spite of incredibly challenging living conditions.

Kenya Works is pleased to partner with VICODEC to support their efforts.
