Kenya Works empowers vulnerable children and families in Kenya through holistic, dignity-centered care. We address the root causes of poverty — not just its symptoms — through security, empowerment, knowledge, and equality.

Our Story
Kenya Works was founded on the belief that poverty is not inevitable — it is the result of systemic barriers that can be dismantled with the right combination of shelter, education, health, and community support.
We work in partnership with Kenyan communities, not above them. Our programs are designed with input from the families and children we serve, ensuring that our work is culturally appropriate, sustainable, and genuinely needed.
Our Approach
Rooted in ubuntu. “I am because we are” — every partnership starts with shared humanity, not distance.
We ask “how,” not “if.” Poverty looks different for every family, so we address real, specific barriers rather than one-size-fits-all fixes.
