In a single year, Kenya Works supports feeding programs nourishing 3,700 children every day
Hunger is unacceptable. Yet in Kenya,
We know that proper nutrition is a basic human right. It is also the foundation for promoting the intellectual, educational and physical development children need to rise out of poverty and into a better future for all.
We are investing in children’s futures by supporting feeding programs.
Miale Ya Tumaini, a community-based organization feeds up to 600 students every day, as well as an evening meal for up to 45 children sheltered in the rescue center.
At VICODEC, 1,000 students eat daily at the community center, and an additional 400 children are fed in satellite programs throughout Kenya.
TAPA (Transform A Person Africa) feeds 90 preschoolers during school and 100 former students an evening meal. Once a member of the TAPA family, always a member.
