Kenya Works is calling all Menstrual Health & Hygiene advocates to join us for a pivotal partnership event—a summit to drive collective action to end period poverty! Together we can expand access to MHH products and education, normalize and destigmatize menstruation & advocate for sustainability.
Objectives of the Day:
- Education: Increase community knowledge about menstruation.
- De-stigmatization: Challenge and dismantle the taboos and stigma associated with menstruation and reusable sanitary products.
- Sustainability and Reusability: Promote the environmental and economic benefits of reusable menstrual products.
- Empowerment: Foster innovation and research in the development of sustainable menstrual health solutions.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Enhance the acceptance and widespread adoption of reusable sanitary products through strong partnerships.
- Inclusivity: Ensure that menstrual health management is inclusive, involving men, people with disabilities and refugees.
