Expanding the Power of Community Despite Global Turmoil

Even in the shadow of deep global anxiety, in 2021 the Kenya Works community grew,
expanding our impact and footprint on the ground.
Growth in the shadow of uncertain circumstances reflects the most beautiful African word. Ubuntu. Ubuntu is an African philosophy that celebrates our shared humanity and the powerful impact we have on each other–and ourselves–when we are connected in service to one another.
The Kenya Works 2021 impact report demonstrates the power of ubuntu. Together we rise as we address inequalities and pave paths to opportunity. While poverty denies people access to opportunity, together the Kenya Works community is creating access—to nutrition, menstrual health supplies, education, shelter and equal rights.
